Why we exist
Most tutoring focusses on subject knowledge, which is only 50% of what IB requires, by someone who has not ever appeared for the Exams. Our mentors sat your exact paper, and remember exactly where it hurt, and how teachers graded their papers.
What we teach
Sessions are built around the philosophy of Subject Knowledge + Exam Taking Skills, to enable students to work hard where it is rewarding in exams.
The difference
Our mentors sat these exact papers, and started at the exact same level where you are at now. They know how to navigate to 7s, the way examiners grade and the traps which prevent you from levelling up.
We do not believe in providing generic subject expertise: IB Exams are meant to be approached in a very specific way. Our Mentors methodically laser-focus your efforts to the best-scoring areas, saving time and energy.
No mass classes, no recorded lectures. Every session has 2-3 like minded students, built around how you prepare and what you are stuck on this week.
In their words
I was unable to receive formal feedback from my teacher on my English A HL Essay. Fortunately, Adhavan was able to help me beyond what my teacher could have. He helped clarify certain areas - giving me general pointers on how I could improve my writing. Despite not writing the HL essay himself, he was still able to make a meaningful impact on its outcome. I’m grateful for the support he’s given me. It’s clear he cares more than anything to help others and extend is knowledge to others. I recommend coming to him for any help or guidance with IB - it will be valuable and well worthwhile!

Very comprehensive feedback, clearly knowledgeable about the subject. Super willing to help. I was very happy to recieve a comprehensive overview of how I can improve my BM IA. The explanations made regarding parts of my IA that I did well on and that I could improve were extremely helpful, particularly the way it was gone over section by section. Thank you so much :)

Your advice was really helpful to me, and some will become evidently helpful during my future months in IB. First of all, my worry for my subject selection decreased as we share similar subject and I got to hear the pros about my own subjects, especially math AIHL. Even the personal experiences of you and your friends you shared were very accurate and like evidence supporting your statements. Overall, your advice to me was very personalized instead of giving vague advice. You understood my situation rather than just talking in general about what one should do.

My overall experience with GTT was truly transformative. Before joining, I was unclear about the scoring structure and how to effectively approach my board exams. GTT provided invaluable guidance and clarity, truly serving as a lifesaver. With their support, I was able to achieve 2 7s and 2 6s in my final IB results. A special thanks to Rishi for patiently addressing my extensive doubts and supporting me throughout the journey.

I sought out guidance for my BM IA initially, which was explained clearly and broken down thoroughly. After the positive experience, I requested for assistance in English A LnL and Business Management examination preparations. Weekly scheduled classes were very useful to understand assessment and grading criteria, and provided the confidence and skills necessary for scoring 7s in both subjects. Overall, very pleased with the guidance.

Well I would say that the whole experience likely saved me from doing poorly. Where I had little clarity on how to go about doing my IAs, Adhavan had helped me out by giving exemplars and guidance on how to approach them. Many times, where I had gaps in my understanding (either citations, the kind of language to use, etc), the tutors were always there to fill them. I would highly recommend these guys to anybody in need of IB help.

Before you start
Before anyone is with you, we want to understand exactly where you stand, your aspirations and what exactly is going on — and who is qualified to fix it.
A conversation
Just 15 minutes with a founder, where we focus on not just your trouble subjects, but help you chart a plan to cruise through the IB.
Evidence
"I lose marks on Paper 3 because I run out of time" tells us far more than "Maths AA HL is hard" — we’ll find out what is going wrong.
The pairing
Your mentor faced the same hardships as you — and came out on top.
Feedback
We create a plan, and course correct based on each class and student feedback to ensure we reach the desired score on time.
Getting started
Tell us what you need: your subjects, levels, and where you are struggling.
A short meeting with the founders, followed by a meeting with your assigned mentors.
Agree a schedule that fits your timezone and get going. Adjust the pace whenever you need to.
Rates are agreed directly with you and depend on subject, level and how often you meet. Get in touch and we will talk it through — no obligations or minimums.
Good questions
If yours isn't here, message us — we answer everything before you commit to anything.
We work with mentors who are all high-scoring IB alums. If you scored highly and enjoy explaining things, we would like to hear from you — flexible hours, paid per session.
